Pangea Piercing Policies

Minor Policy

We are happy to work on minors, with certain conditions.
Client must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If last names are different, birth certificates, marriage licenses, or other documentation may be necessary. If the client is an emancipated minor, documentation will be required. We will only perform certain piercings on minors:

12-14 earlobes only
14-16 ear cartilage, septum
16+ nostril, navel, eyebrow

No oral piercings, anchors, surface piercings on minors.

REGARDING THESE AGE LIMITS:

Frequently, parents will bring children younger than 12 into the shop, wanting their ears pierced. I have certain policies, and they are inflexible. I am quite serious. do not waste my time or yours in the attempt to get me to compromise on these policies. You will find i am quite rigid. this is my policy, and it has served me well for over 14 years. All children mature at different rates, so what is appropriate for one X-year old may not be for another.

your child must understand the process.
your child must actually want the piercing. this is their body, NOT YOURS.
a face-to-face consultation must be done at least one day prior to the piercing. there is no charge for the consultation. YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING PIERCED THAT DAY. attempting to bribe me or convince me to waive the waiting period will result in no piercing being performed AT ALL.
